Job summary

Mullens Markings, Inc. is seeking dependable Flaggers to join our brand new Traffic Control Division based out of our Buchanan, VA location. You will work outdoors with a crew helping keep drivers, workers, and construction zones safe. If you're reliable, safety-minded, and ready to work, we'd like to hear from you.

No roadway construction experience? That's okay. If you're dependable, willing to learn, and ready to work, you can build a steady career with us.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Dependable and ready to work as part of a crew.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Available for days, nights, weekends, and overtime as projects require.
• Traffic control or construction experience is a plus but not required.
• Flagger certification preferred or ability to obtain required certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic safely through active work zones.
• Set up and remove signs, cones, and other traffic control devices.
• Communicate with drivers and crew members.
• Load and unload traffic control equipment.
• Help keep work zones safe and organized.
• Follow traffic control plans and safety procedures.
