Qualifications

• 1 à 2 ans d'expérience sur des chantiers de construction ou opérations de signalisation.
• Certificat ATSSA Flagger requis.
• Permis de conduire valide exigé.

Responsibilities

• Contrôler le mouvement du trafic à travers les chantiers de construction.
• Distribuer des panneaux de contrôle du trafic.
• Avertir les travailleurs de la construction des véhicules approchants.

Job description

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for controlling movement of vehicular traffic through construction projects.

• Discusses traffic routing plans, and type and location of control points with superior.
• Distributes traffic control signs and markers along site in designated pattern.
• Directs movement of traffic through site, using sign, hand, and flag signals.
• Warns construction workers when approaching vehicle fails to heed signals to prevent accident and injury to workers.
• Informs drivers of detour routes through construction sites.
• Record license number of traffic control violators for police.
• Assist paving/milling crews with general labor as needed.
• Other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

Experience & Education/Certificate:

• 1-2 years of experience on construction sites or flagging operations.
• GED/high school diploma or related work experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• ATSSA Flagger certification

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Must be able to work well independently or within a team.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and pressure.
• Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
