Job summary

Star Construction, LLC is seeking a Flag person to ensure safe traffic flow near active worksites. You\'ll guide vehicles and pedestrians using hand signals and paddles, preparing flags, cones and signs, while adhering to DOT guidelines and company safety policies.

The role involves general construction tasks under supervision and working in all weather conditions in Alabama. This position offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental and vision insurance,

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid state driver\'s license and clean driving record.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Previous flagging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control traffic in and around active worksites with hand signs and paddles.
• Prepare flags, cones, signs and markers.
• Perform general construction work under direction of Foreman or Supervisor as needed.
• Drive safely and follow company safe driving policies.
• Follow local, state and federal DOT guidelines.
• Clean and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
