C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Flagger to manage traffic flow in our local road construction sites. You will direct traffic safely, aid equipment operators near working zones, and communicate professionally with the public and crew members.

The role requires alertness, the ability to stand/walk outdoors for extended periods, and willingness to work days, nights, or weekends. A flagger certificate is a plus but not mandatory.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Flagger certificate preferred but not required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred.
• Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed.
• Must have or be able to meet Florida MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver’s license.
• Employer conducts drug testing and background check.

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is a growing road construction company. We are seeking to fill a Flagger position for our local operations.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to direct and control traffic safely in and through work zone
• Direct site equipment when working in close proximity to traffic, hazards and obstructions
• Communicate with the public in a professional manner
• Protect workers by keeping workspace free of traffic and warning them of approaching hazards
• Being observant of surroundings at all times and communicating via two-way radio with co-workers to ensure the safe movement of traffic
• Followsafe practices and procedures
• Occasionally assist crew as needed
• Must be able to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time and be able to work outside in inclement weather

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Flagger certificate preferred but not required
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
• Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed
