Job summary

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. is seeking an MOT Foreman for our Florida-based road construction operations. You will supervise traffic within project limits, plan traffic control, and coordinate flaggers to ensure safe, efficient movement of traffic.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining traffic control devices, ensuring OSHA compliance, and preparing daily to monthly reports. A strong focus on safety, documentation, and teamwork is essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• DOT traffic control certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of traffic control experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in the construction industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to work days, nights, or weekends as needed.
• Must complete all required paperwork efficiently.
• Must meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver's license.
• Employer conducts drug testing and background check.

• Must be knowledgeable as to safety, OSHA, equal employment, and affirmative action programs.
• Other duties as assigned

• Supervises and maintains traffic within project limits and develops a plan for traffic control in cooperation with the Superintendent

• Supervises and coordinates flaggers and traffic control specialists to ensure compliance and specific project assignments

• Ensure all projects are completed in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with company policy, and in compliance with federal, state, and local governing laws, ordinances, and policies
