PlayPower in Lewisburg, PA invites applications for a Fixture Design Intern in the Technical Services department. The 6‑month program focuses on designing fixtures to support manufacturing, assembly and testing at the Lewisburg Plant.

You will work with engineering and operations, use CAD tools like SolidWorks or AutoCAD, and create detailed drawings for manufacturing while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Design, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related program.
• Basic knowledge of CAD software and mechanical design principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to understand fixture requirements.
• Design fixtures using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Create detailed drawings and documentation for manufacturing.
• Participate in prototype development and testing of fixtures.
• Ensure designs meet safety, ergonomic, and quality standards.
