Job summary

Johnson Service Group, Inc. in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is seeking a Fixed Maintenance Supervisor to oversee hourly maintenance staff and preventive maintenance for surface and underground fixed equipment.

This role reports to the Fixed Maintenance Foreman and backs up the Foreman as needed. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of maintenance experience, including underground hard rock mining, and is proficient with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED; technical/vocational associate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience, including underground hard rock mining.
• Strong understanding of underground mining operations and fixed plant equipment/maintenance processes.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Prior supervisory experience; strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise execution of preventive maintenance, scheduled repairs, and emergency repairs on fixed equipment assets.
• Coordinate contract maintenance work and ensure compliance with PM schedules.
• Partner with Planning and Operations to ensure work is properly planned, scheduled, and executed to support production needs.
• Assign work orders, monitor progress during the shift, and maintain high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Support emergency maintenance of hoists, chillers, pumps, compressors, and other underground fixed plant infrastructure.
• Participate in risk assessments and SOP development; inspect work in progress and completed work for quality/reliability.
• Complete required documentation and CMMS entries (shift reports, material requests, timecards, etc.).
• Lead, coach, and manage hourly employees in accordance with company policies, applicable laws, and the collective bargaining agreement.

Salary: 110K DOE
