Northland is seeking an experienced Senior Fixed Income Trading Desk Support to provide end-to-end support for new issue deals and secondary trading activity. The role requires deep knowledge of workflows, coordination with counterparties, and independent execution under time pressure.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in fixed income trading support, FINRA licenses, and a bachelor’s degree. Onsite work with a collaborative culture is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in fixed income trading desk support or related function.
• FINRA licenses; SIE, Series 7, Series 63.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute full lifecycle of new issue deals and secondary market activity.
• Backup closing call facilitator for the desk.
• Coordinate multiple workflows and ensure timely trade capture and settlement.
• Resolve trade breaks and discrepancies with counterparties and clearing firms.
• Maintain expert proficiency in trading desk platforms (Bloomberg, iPreo, EMMA).
• Cross-train junior staff on workflows and compliance fundamentals.
