Job summary

Albany Beck is seeking a Senior Fixed Income Technology Lead / SME to own North American Fixed Income platforms, including Impact trading and Broadridge BPS. You will drive platform strategy, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence across Rates, Credit, Bonds, and related areas.

You will work autonomously with regional teams, partner with Front Office desks, and lead large-scale transformation initiatives to align technology with business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Capital Markets Technology.
• Extensive Fixed Income domain knowledge across Rates, Credit, Bonds, Repo, and FI trading workflows.
• Proven experience supporting and enhancing Impact trading platforms.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Broadridge BPS (Bond Portfolio System).
• Experience leading regional technology functions or acting as a senior SME within Fixed Income environments.
• Deep understanding of Fixed Income trade lifecycle from trade capture through settlement and reporting.
• Experience partnering directly with Front Office trading desks and business leadership.
• Strong knowledge of market data, pricing, valuations, position management, risk reporting, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale transformation, migration, or platform modernisation programmes.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight whilst managing complex stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Act as the North American technology lead for Fixed Income systems and platforms.
• Own the technology relationship with Fixed Income Trading, Sales, Operations, Product Control, Risk, and Compliance stakeholders.
• Lead strategic enhancements and platform modernisation initiatives across the Fixed Income technology estate.
• Provide subject matter expertise for the Impact Fixed Income trading platform and Broadridge BPS.
• Drive delivery of business-critical change initiatives, regulatory projects, platform upgrades, and process improvements.
• Define and execute technology roadmaps supporting growth across Rates, Credit, Government Bonds, Structured Products, and Fixed Income Financing businesses.
• Partner with global technology teams to ensure regional requirements are represented within broader strategic programmes.
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, production stability initiatives, and platform optimisation efforts.
• Oversee vendor engagement and manage relationships with strategic technology partners including Broadridge.
• Support architecture decisions, data strategy initiatives, workflow automation, and infrastructure improvements.
• Lead project governance, prioritisation, budget discussions, and stakeholder communications.
• Mentor junior technologists and act as the go-to escalation point for Fixed Income technology matters within North America.
