Job summary

Verition Fund Management LLC in New York, NY, is seeking an Operations Analyst/Associate to join the Post-Trade Support (Fixed Income Operations) team. You will support post-trade processing across fixed income products, coordinating with Trading, PM, Prime Brokers, and Custodians to ensure accurate settlements.

You will perform reconciliations, monitor settlement activity, and assist with month-end reporting and regulatory support, while contributing to process improvements and control

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
• Proficiency with fixed income products and post-trade processing.
• Strong analytical and data accuracy focus.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end post-trade lifecycle for fixed income products (government bonds, corporates, agencies, municipals, repos, money market).
• Process trade allocations, confirmations and settlements with custodians, brokers, and counterparties.
• Perform daily trade, position, cash, and settlement reconciliations; investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor settlement activity; manage failed trades, buy-ins and aged settlements.
• Coordinate with Trading, PM, Treasury, Risk and external counterparties to resolve issues.
• Process coupon payments, principal repayments, maturities, corporate actions and other lifecycle events.
• Maintain security master and static data; monitor daily cash movements and settlement funding.
• Execute daily controls; support month-end reporting, audits, and regulatory requests.
• Participate in system enhancements and process improvement projects.
