Federated Hermes, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Portfolio Analytics and Strategy Analyst II-FI to support fixed income SMA decisions. You’ll work with the Senior VP and Portfolio Manager to run portfolio models, analyze data, and prepare client-ready materials.

Responsibilities include hedge analysis, performance attribution, and coordinating with Sales, Trading, and Marketing. Strong Excel/SQL/Python skills are essential to success in a hybrid Pittsburgh role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or business-related field required.
• 2 years of professional-level investment experience required; fixed income knowledge preferred.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Excel Macros; familiarity with Word, PowerPoint, FactSet and Bloomberg preferred.
• Ability to code in Python; able to query and analyze large data sets using SQL preferred.

Responsabilités

• Represent Portfolio Management’s interest as a point of contact with Sales, Marketing, Compliance and more.
• Update and maintain fixed income portfolio models for multi-sector strategies.
• Document rationale for fixed income SMA trades and hedge new issue purchases.
• Run what-if scenarios in FactSet for duration and yield curve changes.
• Create presentations for monthly sales calls and quarterly marketing materials.
• Track portfolio characteristics and perform analytics for model changes.
