Job summary

Morgan Stanley seeks an Associate for Fixed Income Product Control within ISG Finance. You will support controllership, ensure accurate financial reporting, and partner with the Business Unit, Technology, and Operations teams on daily P&L reporting and balance sheet substantiation.

The role emphasizes issue resolution, process improvements, and collaboration across a global finance organization. Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency are valued.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of finance, accounting, financial markets, or financial products; interest in Fixed Income markets.
• Previous experience in financial services, audit, accounting, product control, operations, or related control function preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to investigate and explain financial results.

Responsibilities

• Produce, investigate, and report daily P&L and analyze key drivers.
• Collaborate with Business Unit, Technology, Operations, and other Controllers for accurate P&L reporting and timely issue resolution.
• Support monthly net revenue and balance sheet reconciliation and substantiation; identify GL vs P&L differences.
• Escalate, research, and resolve breaks and reporting issues; drive stakeholder questions to resolution.
• Contribute to the execution and improvement of controls, procedures, and reporting processes.
