TruStage Insurance Agency, LLC is offering a Fixed Income Internship on a hybrid basis in Madison, WI. Targeting undergraduates graduating December 2027 or later, this program provides hands-on exposure to fixed income investing, including corporate and structured credit areas managed by TruStage Investment Management.

Responsibilities include assisting with earnings reviews, private placements, data gathering, and preparing reports; culminating in a presentation for an investment

• Work with the Head of Credit Research and rotating Senior Analysts on various projects including corporate earnings reviews, private placement new issues, sector reviews, and other projects.
• Present portions of a private placement new issue at an investment committee meeting.
• Gather and organize data for reports/projects.
• Prepare written earnings reports/projects.
• Attend and participate in meetings.
• Spend the last two weeks preparing a presentation for an investment recommendation or sector review.

Advanced Excel Skills, including building dynamic models and reports.* Working with data tools and integrating with financial data add-ins like Bloomberg is preferred.* Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI as well as experience with programming languages such as python, SQL, R, Java, or similar is preferred.* Capable of independently learning analytical software and data tools.* Any experience with AI tools like Co-Pilot is preferred.
