CITGO Corpus Christi Refinery is seeking a Fixed Equipment Engineer to support the reliability of fixed equipment and provide technical guidance to maintenance and operations. You will review drawings, perform code-based calculations, and contribute to reliability improvements across pipelines and vessels.

The role requires knowledge of ASME/API/NBIC codes, experience with stress analyses, and collaboration with the maintenance team during turnarounds. Travel within TX may be required.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Civil or Welding Engineering with 2+ years of engineering experience.
• Five+ years of engineering experience preferred.
• Familiarity with piping, valves, and pressure vessel standards (ASME, API, NBIC, TEMA).
• Knowledge of ASME Sections VIII, IX and B31.3 and API inspection codes (510, 570).

Responsabilidades

• Provide daily technical support to maintenance and operations for fixed equipment reliability.
• Review and approve piping/equipment drawings per specifications.
• Perform fixed equipment calculations using ASME/API codes for thickness, re-rates, reinforcements.
• Conduct piping/vessel stress analyses with Sage Plus, Abaqus, Caesar II.
• Review inspection data and assist in repair recommendations.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and support turnaround planning.
• Lead root cause analyses and reliability improvement initiatives.
