The McPherson Companies is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage daily accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations. The role includes ownership of fixed assets, depreciation, and asset tracking across multiple locations and product lines.

You will support month-end close, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with budgets and audits under the direction of the Controller. A CPA or MBA is preferred and Oracle/JD Edwards experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• CPA or MBA preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare journal entries for multiple business units and product lines.
• Reconcile cash and other balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Assist with month-end close and financial statement production.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting lifecycle, including additions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Support audits and tax returns and assist with budgeting processes.
• Prepare detailed fixed asset schedules and depreciation summaries.
