Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Fixed Asset Analyst to ensure assets are accurately recorded and maintained in the fixed asset system. You will support capital project accounting, asset tracking, reporting, and internal controls compliance.

You will partner with multiple departments to ensure capital expenditures and assets are properly recorded, monitored, and reported, while assisting with lifecycle tracking and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of accounting/finance experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Access experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication across departments.
• Experience with fixed asset systems is a plus.
• SOX/compliance knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review completed projects in POPA for accuracy and prepare CIP files for upload.
• Reconcile fixed asset and related GL accounts for accurate reporting.
• Coordinate and support store asset audits on a five-year cycle.
• Prepare project-related journal entries and adjustments for capex and invoices.
• Analyze financial data and summarize asset activity and trends.
• Maintain accurate records by validating transactions and supporting docs.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Research accounting questions by interpreting policies and regulations.
