Job description

Fixed Asset Accountant for a long term contract (1+year)

This is a unique opportunity to work at scale, supporting infrastructure fixed assets and lease accounting in a fast-paced environment in the Tech / Software / Cloud industry. You’ll be a key player in maintaining accurate and complete fixed asset records and will collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across Accounting, Finance, and Infrastructure Operations. What will you do as a Fixed Assets Accountant?

Manage the infrastructure fixed asset and finance lease portfolio through the full-cycle accounting close and quarterly reporting

Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules

Ensure data integrity through Oracle and maintain compliance with internal policies

Collaborate across departments to drive daily tasks and special projects

Support internal and external audit processes by compiling schedules and documentation

Generate reports and analytical insights for management

What we are looking for in a Fixed Asset Accountant :

4+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting close processes and reconciliations

Expertise in fixed asset and ASC 842 (lease accounting) under US GAAP

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a curious, continuous learning mindset

Proficient in Excel; experience with Oracle Cloud is a plus

A team player with humility and a positive, collaborative approach

Quick learner eager to optimize existing processes and systems

Background in process improvement and / or data automation tools like Alteryx a major plus!
