Job summary

Cascade Living Group is seeking a Dining Services Director for Cascades of Bend to lead the dining services department and deliver five-star service to residents. You’ll oversee staffing, budgeting, inventory, safety, and vendor relationships while upholding a culture of wellness and compassionate care.

The role requires supervision experience in upscale settings, strong communication, and the ability to plan menus within budget.

Qualifications

• Preferred five years of direct supervision and management experience in high-end senior living communities, hotels or country clubs.
• Experience and/or training in nutrition, food preparation, safe food handling techniques and food service management.
• Ability to hire, train and provide leadership for Food and Dining personnel.
• Compassionate and professional representation of the community.

Responsibilities

• Ensure meals are prepared on time and served efficiently.
• Maintain the highest possible quality and consistency in resident dining.
• Demonstrate strong time management managing multiple priorities.
• Oversee budget and maintain records and reports.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
• Ensure kitchen and dining room cleanliness.
• Work on special events monthly.
• Evaluate employee performance and recruit/train new staff.
• Promote Cascade Living's mission, values and beliefs.
