Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. is seeking a friendly, engaged associate to greet customers and manage fitting room flow at our store in Billings. You will learn product details, assist shoppers, and support the sales team to ensure a memorable shopping experience.

Responsibilities include checking customers in/out of rooms, restocking merchandise, answering questions, and keeping the fitting area clean and safe. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED, 1–3 months related experience or training, or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities.
  • Willingness to learn product knowledge and work with sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and monitor fitting room usage while tracking merchandise.
  • Prepare merchandise (buttons, zips, etc.) to return to selling floor.
  • Answer all incoming calls in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Learn product knowledge to assist customers and partner with sales associates.
  • Direct customers to the correct associate for questions on location, price or use.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized fitting room environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn product knowledge to assist customers and partner effectively with sales associates
  • Be knowledgeable to answer questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise, and direct customers to the correct associate when necessary
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized fitting room environment
Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have or be in pursuit of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-3 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Medium work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
