Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking a part-time retail teammate to greet customers, manage fittings, and keep merchandise ready for the sales floor. The role supports a high-energy, customer-first environment within our fitting rooms.

Schedule requires two to three shifts weekly and every other weekend, with average 20 hours. We offer ESOP, 401(k) with Roth options, associate discounts, and comprehensive health coverage to qualified associates.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers, check customers in and out of rooms, while monitoring the amount of merchandise the customer has in the fitting room
  • Prepares merchandise (buttons, zips, etc.) to return to the selling floor
  • Answer all incoming calls in a friendly, professional, and pleasant disposition
  • Learn product knowledge to assist customers and partner effectively with sales associates
  • Be knowledgeable to answer questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise, and direct customers to the correct associate when necessary
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized fitting room environment

Schedule: Must be available to work two to three shifts during the week and an every other weekend rotation. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays, must be available a minimum of two weekends a month. Average hours per week is 20 hours.

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have or be in pursuit of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-3 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
