Job summary

V&S Schuler Utilities Group in Ohio seeks a MIG Welder/Fitter to join our team. You will read blueprints, set up welding equipment, and perform MIG, TIG, stick and flux-core welds to produce high-quality parts and structures.

This role requires ability to read technical drawings, attention to detail, and stamina to work in a shop environment with PPE. Overtime or shift work may be required; pay is $29.26 per hour with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a welder or in a similar role.
• Skilled in multiple welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.).
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and industry best practices.
• Physical stamina to handle heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

• Shop environment with temperature variations depending on season.
• PPE required, including welding helmet, gloves, and protective clothing.
• Overtime or shift work may be required based on project needs
