Job summary

V&S Schuler Utilities Group in Middlefield, OH is seeking a Welder to join our metal fabrication team. You will read blueprints, set up welding equipment, perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding, and produce welds that meet our quality standards.

You will inspect welds, use grinders and fabrication tools, follow safety procedures, and document work. A high school diploma is required; welding certification is preferred. Overtime or shift work may be needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a welder or in a similar role.
• Skilled in multiple welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.).
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and industry best practices.
• High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding processes including MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-core.
