Responsibilities of Fitter / Welder

• Perform welding and fitting duties according to specifications and work instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications.
• Fit, align, and prepare metal components for welding and final assembly.
• Perform final assembly of equipment and components as needed.
• Inspect completed welds and assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
• Make adjustments and corrections to ensure proper fit and function.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals.
• Perform other duties related to welding, fitting, and assembly as assigned.

Qualifications of Fitter / Welder

• Previous experience as a Fitter/Welder or in a similar welding and fabrication role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
• Ability to perform both welding and fitting work.
• Comfortable performing final assembly in addition to welding responsibilities.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to use common hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Experience Fitter / Welder:

• Experience with industrial equipment, machinery, or heavy fabrication.

• Experience with multiple welding processes is a plus.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
