Job summary

American Technical Services Inc in Menomonee Falls, WI is seeking a Welder for 1st shift to perform MIG welding, fit-up and fabrication on mild steel, stainless and aluminum. You will read prints, set up joints and weld using GMAW, with in-house fabricators assisting as needed.

The role includes operating basic machine tools, lifting and moving materials with cranes, hoists and forklifts, and supporting assembly efforts.

Qualifications

• Read prints, set up and weld using GMAW with basic assembly on fabrication projects.
• MIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
• In-house fabricators support welders during production.

Responsibilities

• Weld using GMAW/MIG; read and interpret blueprints or prints.
• Fit-up and assemble components per specifications.
• Operate basic machine tools and assist fabrication processes.

Welding open table, fitting, fabrication and welding GMAW some Flux..

MIG mild and stainless steel, aluminum and alloys.
Nationally known and reputable company in Menomonee Falls, WI area.

Mechanical assembly, some machine operation(saws, hand and power tools) read a print-some lifting.

Medium to lighter gauge welding.

In-house fabricators help in the process for the welders.

Read prints, set up and weld using GMAW process.

Also move materials using crane, hoists and forklifts
