QPS Employment Group in Germantown, WI is seeking Mig Fitter Welders to join our manufacturing team. The role involves reading blueprints, fitting components, and performing MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metals to tight specifications.

Strong measuring skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on a steady 1st shift are essential. Work hours are 6:00am-2:00pm with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 5+ years of MIG welding and fitting experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Proficient in measuring tools (tape measures, squares, calipers, levels).
• Welding certification preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
• Fit and assemble metal components prior to welding.
• Perform MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metals as required.
• Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for fabrication.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and specifications.
• Operate fabrication equipment (saws, grinders, drill presses, etc.).
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform routine maintenance on welding and fabrication equipment.
• Assist with loading/unloading and movement of materials.
• Work with supervisors and team members to meet schedules.

Position Title: Mig Fitter Welders

Wage: $25.00-$31.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am-2:00pm

We are seeking Mig Fitter Welders in Germantown, WI.

Mig Fitter Welders Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders
• Fit and assemble metal components prior to welding
• Perform MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metals as required
• Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for fabrication
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
• Operate fabrication equipment, including saws, grinders, drill presses, and other shop tools
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Perform routine maintenance on welding and fabrication equipment
• Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of materials throughout the shop
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules

Mig Fitter Welders Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 5+ years of MIG welding and fitting experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Proficient in the use of measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, calipers, and levels
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Welding certification preferred but not required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift for extended periods
• Frequently lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or fabrication environment with exposure to heat, noise, and welding fumes
• Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
• Occasional overtime may be required to meet production demands
