Qualifications

• Extensive experience in fitting and fabricating is essential.
• High school diploma or GED, plus 12 months of training or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in reading shop drawings, high motivation, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit structural forms like frames, bridge parts, beams, and columns.
• Read and interpret blueprints to plan fitting operations.
• Use fitter skills to layout and fit detail parts accurately.
• Verify the accuracy of fit-ups before inspection.

Skills

Extensive experience in fitting and fabricating

Proficiency in reading shop drawings

High motivation and ability to work independently

Education

High school diploma or GED

12 months of training or equivalent experience

Tools

Welding certifications
