Job summary

Robinson Fans, Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a Fitter to layout, tack, and fit fabricated equipment. You will weld as needed, maintain attention to detail, and follow safety protocols in a Monday–Friday 6:00am-2:30pm schedule.

Qualifications

• A combination of training and strong fabricating experience is required for this position.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Read and understand Robinson fabrication drawings, blueprints, welding procedures, and shop travelers.
• Ability to read weld symbols.
• Solid written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to learn and cross-train in other departments.
• Ability to accept feedback and adapt to change.
• Innovative and resourceful when problem-solving.
• Fluent in English, working with written and verbal communication.
• Must be able to wear a respirator and safety boots, climb a ladder, hear safety alarms, and lift to 50lbs.

Due to growth and expansion, we are currently seeking motivated and experienced Fitters to work at our Salt Lake City, UT facility. As a Fitter at Robinson Fans, you will be responsible for the layout, tacking, and fitting of all fabricated equipment. You must have keen attention to detail and the ability to weld as needed. The regular schedule for this position is M-F 6:00am-2:30pm.
