Job summary

Superior Ind in Loganville is seeking a Fitter to build high‑quality products through precision and craftsmanship. You will read blueprints to prepare parts, perform tack welds, and ensure proper penetration and strength.

You will document work flows as components move through weld areas and safely operate fabrication equipment including welders, torches, and drills. Day shift positions run 6:00am–4:30pm Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–2:30pm Friday, with benefits such as weekly pay, health insurance,

• Performing tack welds and welds appropriate to the material and position, ensuring proper penetration, strength, and appearance
• Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring information flows with each component through final weld areas
• Safely operating and maintaining fabrication equipment, including welders, torches, hand and air tools, punches, saws, drill presses, and mag drills
• Following all safety procedures, including the proper use of overhead and jib cranes for lifting and material handling
