Job summary

Superior Ind is seeking a Night Shift Fitter to join our fabrication team. You will read blueprints, prepare parts and weld surfaces with precision, performing tack welds and full welds as required and ensuring proper penetration and appearance.

You will safely operate and maintain welders, torches, hand tools, mag drills, and related equipment while following all safety procedures. Weekly pay, benefits, and a 401K with company match are offered.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprint drawings to prepare parts and weld surfaces
• Perform tack welds and welds appropriate to the material and position, ensuring proper penetration, strength, and appearance
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensuring information flows with each component through final weld areas
• Safely operate and maintain fabrication equipment, including welders, torches, hand and air tools, punches, saws, drill presses, and mag drills
• Follow safety procedures, including the proper use of overhead and jib cranes for lifting and material handling

Night Shift

• 4:00pm - 4:30am Monday - Thrusday
