Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in parks and recreation management/administration or related field.
• 1 year of recreation or fitness programming experience, with 2 years supervisory experience.
• CPR, First Aid and in-house First Responder certification on hire; CPR/First Aid within 12 months; willingness to obtain CPR certification.
• Possession or ability to obtain Colorado driver’s license; safe driving history.
• Knowledge of CAPRA accreditation practices and standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, implement, and evaluate fitness and wellness programs.
• Supervise staff; manage scheduling, performance, and training.
• Assist with budgets, revenues, expenditures, and cost-control measures.
• Collaborate on facility use, scheduling, marketing, and registration processes.
• Maintain safety, risk management practices, and incident reporting.
• Prepare reports on participation and program performance.
