Reporting to the Regional Fitness Manager, the Fitness Trainer will be responsible for running the Planet Fitness group program (PE@PF) while supporting the club manager to drive member retention and club revenue. This includes assisting new members in the achievement of their fitness goals by designing simple workout programs and instructing them on the proper use of equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducts and runs the PE@PF program: including fitness consultations and introducing members to the benefits of our program.
• Assists members on the gym floor with proper use of equipment and engages them to peak interest in PE@PF program.
• Assists club staff in maintaining cleanliness of the club, including the 30-minute circuit room, PF 360 area, and continuous racking/re-racking of weights as needed.
• Supports front desk operations as needed (e.g., check-in members, club tours, info calls, greeting).
• Maintains participation logs of each facilitated class to monitor PE@PF program performance.
• Maintains accredited certifications throughout employment: Personal Training and CPR.
• Completes company-assigned trainings and additional learning as directed.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Reaches and feels with hands, fingers, and arms 75% of shift.
• Talks with members and staff.
• Regular bending and squatting.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 100 pounds.
