Job summary

EPIC Fitness Group is seeking a Fitness Trainer for our Flint location, focusing on personalized member programs and high-standard customer service. The role involves designing tailored workouts, ensuring safety, and promoting a positive, judgment-free gym environment.

Candidates should ideally hold NASM/ACSM/ACE/NCSA/NSCA/ISSA/WITS credentials, with a commitment to certification within 6 months if not already held. Benefits include health coverage, PTO, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) accredited certifications such as: NASM, ACSM, ACE, NCSF, NSCA, ISSA and/or WITS.
• If the candidate does not have a certification upon hire, they will be hired as a Member Service Representative and must obtain certification within 6 months.
• Maintenance of current fitness certifications is expected to support member training and safety.

Job Details: Job Location: EFG Flint - Flint, MI 48507, Salary Range: $16.75 Hourly, Job Shift: FT: Mon & Fri 6a-2p, Tues-Thurs 12p-8p, We are looking for Fitness Trainers who want to be part of our team! The Fitness Trainer is an opportunity to begin your fitness career as well as provide leadership opportunities and growth. Our unique membership base includes a wide range of age groups and fitness levels, allowing you to fully develop your skills as a trainer while working with a large membership base.

As a Planet Fitness Trainer, you would be: Designing individual exercise programs for each member based on their exercise experience, medical background and personal goals. Develop and implement exercise programs that are safe, effective and appropriate for individuals who are apparently healthy or have medical clearance to exercise. The Fitness Trainer is responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests and ensuring an exceptional "Judgement Free" member experience!

This position has a $1/hour premium added to any hours worked 10:00 PM-6:00 AM. Reimbursement available for Nationally Recognized Certified Training Certificate (not required for hire) up to $300 for the certification. If candidate does not have a certification upon hire, they will be hired in as a Member Service Representative, and need to obtain certification within 6 months from hire date.
