Barry’s Washington, DC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead studio operations, teams, and hospitality standards in a fast-paced fitness environment. You will work closely with the GM to drive client acquisition, retention, and KPI targets while delivering best-in-class service.

The role requires 1-3 years of fitness management experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and full-time availability, including non-traditional hours.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of fitness management or relevant related experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Availability for full-time work during non-traditional hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to train, lead, motivate, and delegate to a team of employees.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and in a time-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Works with Operations leadership to uphold Barry’s mission and values.
• Maintain a 40 hour per week studio presence and lead brand skills.
• Drive class, fuel bar and retail sales to exceed studio targets.
• Lead duty rotation, class check-ins, and studio opening/closing per policy.
• Analyze KPIs (paid attendance, first-timers, utilization, conversion, labor) and report insights.
