Job summary

D1 Training Lakeland is seeking a Fitness Sales Specialist to drive enrollment and program adoption within a premier training facility. You will thrive on a fast-paced sales cycle, from rapid lead contact to closing, while guiding clients toward the best D1 program that fits their athletic goals.

You’ll use consultative selling to match individual goals with our offerings, manage client information in Mindbody, and participate in ongoing sales training.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in sales and customer service; fitness industry experience is a plus.
• Self-starter with proven ability to hit targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred.
• High energy and poised interactions with diverse people.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sales lifecycle from lead response to closing.
• Conduct consultations to understand goals and prescribe programs.
• Manage client notes and lead status in Mindbody.
• Support client retention and participate in weekly sales training.
• Track daily wins, inventory, and KPIs.

The Mission

As the FSS, you are our lead playmaker. You are responsible for the entire sales lifecycle: from high-speed lead response and nurturing to conducting consultations and closing the sale. The Game Plan

• Speed to Contact: Relentlessly follow up with leads via calls, texts, and emails to set and confirm appointments.
• Consultative Sales: Meet with prospects, understand their athletic goals, and prescribe the perfect D1 program.
• Lead Management: Expertly manage client notes and lead status in Mindbody to ensure no athlete falls through the cracks.
• Retention & Growth: Maximize client retention through elite customer service and participate in weekly sales training to sharpen your edge.
• Daily Scorecard: Close out each day by tracking your wins, inventory, and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years in sales and customer service (fitness industry experience is a major plus).
• The "Self-Starter" Factor: Proven ability to work independently and hit targets consistently.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or a related field is preferred (it helps you speak the language of our athletes).
• Certifications: Must be high-energy and poised when interacting with everyone from parents to professional athletes.
