Job summary

Defined Fitness is seeking a Fitness Manager in Albuquerque, NM to lead the personal training team, drive revenue through PT programs, ensure member satisfaction, and manage renewals. You will oversee coaching staff, report on performance, and collaborate with management to grow the club’s training services.

Qualifications

• Valid nationally recognized Personal Training Certification
• Bachelor’s degree in health, fitness or related field preferred
• Minimum of one year sales experience
• Minimum of one year supervisory/leadership experience
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office and programs such as ABC and GymSales
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• CPR/AED certification within first 45 days of employment and maintained during employment
• Knowledge of exercise equipment and assessing member needs
• Sales-oriented mindset with flexibility for high-traffic times and close-out dates
• Evenings, weekends and/or holidays may be required

Responsibilities

• Drive personal training revenue through sale of PT packages, team training, and renewals
• Provide excellent customer service and member experiences to retain clients
• Manage account issues and contract management
• Collaborate with management on hiring, training, and leading PT team
• Provide reporting on team performance to management
• Support clients and cover PT sessions as needed
• Provide feedback to trainers to improve professionalism and service
