New York Sports Club and our family of brands is seeking a Fitness Manager in Hoboken, NJ to lead the Personal Training department, develop a high-performing team, and drive sales while delivering an exceptional member experience.

You will manage trainer performance, conduct business reviews, and align with district leadership to hit monthly financial goals. This exempt, on-site role requires strong leadership, communication, and a passion for fitness.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years prior sales experience; fitness sales preferred.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience; 3+ preferred.
• 2-3 years of personal training experience; corporate gym setting preferred.
• Demonstrate the ability to drive financial performance.
• Exhibits sales skills with a focus on attracting new clients and retention.
• Strong business acumen and ability to manage brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead PT department and promote/sell fitness products and services.
• Coach, train, and develop Personal Trainers to meet department objectives.
• Drive PT sales, manage onboarding and scheduling of trainers.
• Set targets, provide feedback, and support progress for team performance.
• Manage client pipelines and ensure a high-quality member experience.
• Maintain scheduling, client outreach, and operational SOPs.
