Job summary

Salem YMCA is seeking a Fitness Floor Staff member to welcome members, demonstrate equipment, and promote fitness programs in a lively, supportive environment. You will guide tours for prospective members and answer questions to help everyone feel connected.

We value 18+ applicants with CPR/First Aid certification; Personal Trainer certification is a plus but not required. Ability to lift 45 lbs and spot participants with heavy weights is expected.

As Fitness Floor Staff, you'll support members and program participants in a welcoming and energized environment. Your day-to-day will include greeting members, keeping equipment clean and safe, demonstrating exercises and machines, and promoting additional fitness programs. You'll also give tours to prospective members and answer questions about our offerings-helping everyone feel supported and connected.
