Job summary

LynchVan Otterloo YMCA in Marblehead, MA is seeking a part-time Fitness Floor Staff member to support members and program participants in the wellness center. You will greet, assist, demonstrate exercises, and promote additional YMCA programs during evenings and weekends.

The ideal candidate is 18+, CPR/First Aid certified, and passionate about helping others stay active. This role offers a chance to grow within a mission-driven community organization at the Marblehead location.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must maintain CPR and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with members and program participants.
• Maintain a clean and safe fitness center environment.
• Demonstrate exercises and equipment to members.
• Share information about additional programs to help members reach their goals.
• Give tours to prospective members and answer questions to encourage involvement.

You'll also give prospective members tours, answer questions, and encourage deeper involvement in our Y community.We’re looking for someone who: Has a working knowledge of fitness programs and exercises.
