Job summary

Planet Fitness in Flourtown, PA is hiring a part-time Fitness Ambassador to greet members, assist on the fitness floor, and handle check-ins. No experience required; training provided and certification within 90 days. Growth paths include trainer, club management or leadership opportunities, all within a fun, supportive environment.

Starting pay is $13 per hour with raises upon certification and future tenure-based increases, reflecting a welcoming culture and focus on member experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Experience in customer service, hospitality or fitness preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, able to work independently.
• Passion for fitness; willingness to learn basic techniques; certification within 90 days.
• Ability to stand/walk 4–8 hours; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet members with energy and make everyone feel welcome.
• Be visible on the fitness floor; assist with check-ins and member needs.
• Promote club programs, events, and offerings.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and motivating environment.
• Build rapport and encourage member progress.
