Job summary

Planet Fitness in Berwyn, PA is seeking a Fitness Ambassador to join as an entry-level team member. You’ll greet members warmly, be a visible presence on the fitness floor, and assist with check-ins and member needs.

No fitness background is required, just energy and a people-first mindset, with training provided to grow into leadership roles. You’ll promote club programs, maintain a positive environment, and contribute to a welcoming experience that aligns with the brand’s Judgement Free Zone

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or fitness preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Willingness to learn basic training techniques; certification encouraged.
• Must complete fitness training certification (NCSF) within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet members with enthusiasm and make everyone feel welcome.
• Be visible and approachable on the fitness floor.
• Assist with check-ins, questions, and member needs.
• Promote programs, events, and club offerings.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and motivating environment.
• Build relationships by knowing names, celebrating wins, and encouraging progress.
