Job summary

Planet Fitness in Jamison, PA is seeking a Fitness Ambassador for a part-time, entry-level role. Starting at $13 per hour, with a raise upon certification and future tenure-based increases, you will be the energetic, welcoming face that helps members feel at home.

No fitness background required—training will be provided. You’ll greet members, assist with check-ins, promote club programs, and maintain a positive, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or fitness preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must complete fitness training certification (NCSF) within 90 days of hire.
• Must be able to perform and demonstrate a wide range of exercises, including strength, cardio, and flexibility movements.

Responsibilities

• Greet members with enthusiasm and make everyone feel welcome.
• Be a visible, approachable presence on the fitness floor.
• Assist with check-ins, questions, and member needs.
• Promote programs, events, and club offerings.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and motivating environment.
• Build relationships — know names, celebrate wins, and encourage progress.
