Fitness Equipment Technician position at FITNESS SUPERSTORE USA seeks a skilled technician to assemble, maintain, and repair fitness equipment in both commercial and residential settings. You will ensure safe, functional gear for clients and support wellness goals.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot using diagnostic tools, and keep detailed service records. The role requires independent work and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, with travel between NJ job sites possible.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a technician or mechanic, preferably in the fitness industry or related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.

Responsibilities

• Utilize diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter to troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure proper functionality of equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding equipment performance.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for each job.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in fitness technology to provide informed recommendations to clients.
