FITNESS SUPERSTORE USA is seeking a skilled Fitness Equipment Technician in New Jersey to assemble, maintain, and repair a range of fitness equipment for commercial and residential settings, ensuring safe, functional solutions for clients.

Successful candidates will have proven technician experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently or in a team within a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license for travel is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a technician or mechanic, preferably in the fitness industry or related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• A valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, service repairs, and assembly on a variety of fitness equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, and weight machines.
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter to troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure proper functionality of equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding equipment performance.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for each job.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in fitness technology to provide informed recommendations to clients.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fitness Equipment Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and repair of various fitness equipment in both commercial and residential settings.
