Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Fitness Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations, support fitness programs, and ensure a positive experience for members. This role involves overseeing administrative tasks, class management, equipment maintenance, and program coordination across our fitness areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Fitness Manager with supervising of dress code, safety issues and cleanliness of the fitness center. Report anyone consistently breaking house rules.
- Assures that customer service standards are consistently attained pertaining to members and guests.
- Provide complete biography of his/herself, availability, and continuing education throughout the year.
- Handle any emergencies that may arise and complete all necessary paperwork.
- Develop fitness or wellness classes, such as yoga, aerobics, strength training, or aquatics, ensuring a diversity of class offerings.
- Assist Fitness Manager with class evaluations and development of instructors to improve classes offered.
- Conduct needs assessments or surveys to determine interest in, or satisfaction with, wellness and fitness programs, events, or services.
- Makes' recommendations for CAP Ex, maintenance, repair and upkeep of the Fitness Center and Studio, its equipment and other areas of the club.

- Use computer skills to maintain that all websites are up to date with correct information for members.
- Review and research current trends in the health and wellness industry.
- Help with other athletic activities such as (but not limited to), special events, club with in club activities, personal training, wellness and recovery suite, etc.
- Respond to member inquiries via phone or email.
- Assist the Fitness Manager with daily operations and administrative tasks.
- Engage with members and create a positive environment.
- Track class attendance, cancellations, and substitutions.
- Assist in developing and managing monthly fitness programs.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the Athletic Areas.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Experience in administrative or fitness management roles preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in office applications.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Current CPR certification
- Current personal training or group fitness certification (Including but not limited to NASM, NSCA, ACSM, ACE, etc.)
