Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Louisville in Prospect, KY is seeking a Part Time Healthy Living Coach to welcome members and support their wellness goals.

You will lead friendly engagements, share health tips, and help maintain a safe, clean wellness center while providing tours and fostering community. Minimum High School diploma; 21+ preferred; hourly pay $11.00; location at Norton Commons.

Essential Responsibilities

• Uphold the mission of the YMCA, and demonstrate behaviors that reflect a determined, nurturing, genuine, hopeful, and welcoming nature.
• Provide courteous, prompt and sincere attention to members, guests, participants and staff.
• Provide Healthy Living Initiatives such as Smart Start Trainings, Youth Fitness Fundamentals, Orientations, and other member engagement initiatives.
• Responsible for member engagement and follow‑up communication.
• Ensure facilities are picked up, safe and free from clutter.
• Give exceptional tours when necessary – share the features of the YMCA and its offerings.
• Foster and build strong member relationships.
• Serve as a role model for policies and guidelines in the wellness center.
• Maintain a safe, clean and functional wellness center.
• Replenish and maintain appropriate health and safety materials throughout the facility (hand sanitizer, paper towels, soap, disinfectant spray, etc.).
