About Us:

The T.E.A. Center is a leading early childhood and youth enrichment center located in McLean, VA. We are passionate about helping children grow physically, socially, and emotionally through hands-on learning and movement-based activities. We are currently looking for a high-energyFitness Coachto lead fun, engaging, and age-appropriate fitness sessions for children ages 2–12.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead fun, developmentally appropriate fitness activities for ages 2–12.

• Introduce basic physical exercises, stretches, obstacle courses, and movement games.

• Promote physical health, body awareness, and teamwork in a supportive environment.

• Ensure a safe, organized, and inclusive activity space.

• Motivate and encourage children with positive reinforcement and clear instructions.

• Communicate with parents, teachers, and staff about children’s progress and participation.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in a fitness, sports, or physical education setting.

• Energetic, reliable, and enthusiastic about children’s health and wellness.

• Basic knowledge of child development and age-appropriate physical activities.

• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified).

• Must pass a background check and meet Virginia childcare requirements.

• Bonus: Degree or coursework in physical education, early childhood education, or a related field.
