Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness in Edison, NJ is seeking Fitness Coaches to lead our coach-inspired, science-backed, tech-tracked workouts. You will guide members through predefined sessions, help them set and achieve goals, and ensure proper form using heart-rate focused training principles.

You must hold a national fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or an equivalent) or be able to obtain one, and you should genuinely connect with and motivate others to help them reach their fitness goals.

Qualifications

• No degree is required; national fitness certification or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to connect with and motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate members through pre-defined workouts.
• Help members set and achieve goals.
• Ensure correct form and provide corrections when needed.

Position Overview

OTF is looking for Fitness Coaches to lead our coach-inspired, science-backed, and technology-tracked workouts.

Day In The Life of a Fitness Coach:

• Lead and motivate members through pre-defined workouts
• Help members set and achieve goals
• Make sure members are using correct form and offering corrections if they aren’t
• Understand the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate focused training programs in general, and being aware of what the competition is doing
• Know how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout

Requirements
