Job summary

Taymax Group is seeking a capable on-site staff supervisor for our fitness clubs in San Antonio, TX. This role involves front desk leadership, member engagement, and payroll support to ensure smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of customer service experience in a gym or retail setting. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred in gym or retail.
• CPR certification required.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office) and the ability to learn systems quickly.
• Strong supervisory, diplomatic and listening skills.
• Energetic, hard-working and passionate about health and fitness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing staff (Member Service Representatives, Trainers, Custodians).
• Greet members, check-in, and facilitate member requests with excellent service.
• Support club manager with staff scheduling, payroll processing, and coverage during absences.
• Oversee front desk operations and maintain cleanliness and safety in the club.
• Support marketing efforts and coordinate promotions with staff.
