Job summary

Fitness Ventures LLC is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) to join our Des Moines area clubs. This role supports daily operations, learns all aspects of club management, and helps create a high-energy, results-driven environment for members and staff.

You will work with club leadership to learn sales, member experience, and operational standards, with a strong emphasis on leadership development, accountability, and delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, fitness, or leadership roles preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Fitness industry or club management experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support and contribute to a positive, high-performance team culture.
• Inspire, coach, and motivate team members to deliver an exceptional member experience.
• Assist in training and developing team members in alignment with company standards and expectations.
• Promote accountability and ensure adherence to club policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Achieve individual sales goals and contribute to club revenue targets.
• Support achievement of team revenue goals through coaching, motivation, and leadership.
• Ensure a welcoming, professional environment for all members and guests.
• Manage front desk and membership services operations to drive engagement.
• Communicate club policies and expectations to team members.
• Support a culture of cleanliness and overall facility standards.
