Job summary

Retro Fitness of Lauderhill is seeking a General Manager to lead daily club operations and ensure top-quality member service. You will motivate and manage staff, align with the annual budget, and drive revenue across membership, training, and retail.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a focus on delivering a welcoming gym environment and maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and work within club support functions of Fitness, Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Information Technology.
• Resolve member complaints in an efficient and tactful manner following club procedure and documentation.
• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances service quality for members and staff.
• Ensure the club meets brand standards for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and security.
• Ensure visible maintenance items are repaired promptly and proper signage is posted.
• Track completion of opening/closing checklists, logs, and cleaning checklists.
• Oversee payroll and general and administrative expenses to manage expenses against budget.
• Keep current in knowledge of key competitors.
• Perform brand excellence reviews.
• Communicate and implement club policies and procedures to employees.
• Achieve personal training revenue goals and integrate PT services into sales presentations.
• Oversee PT manager in ensuring departmental objectives are met.
• Drive revenue goals across Membership, Training, and Retail & Merchandising.
